Characters I play:

• Maria Ivanova is a warrior from the shattered world of Tikonov, Maria is fleeing her own haunted memories just as much as the people that destroyed her world. She and her brother Piotr were both members of the Tikonov Home Guard Regiment before fleeing the planet and Capellan space entirely. The wereabouts of her brother are currently unknown, but her current 'mech was formerly listed under his name in the THG.

• Siera W. Cougre is often known by her friends as the "gun-slingin' X-wing pilot" or "the kid with guns." After all the recent turmoil in the Galactic governments - especially with the Emperor's consolidation of power in the Senate - she's decided to leave her home-world for good. Her plans are to either become a rebel fighter, or go back into the "Family Business."
  

  Sierra comes from a long line of mercenaries/security forces for hire on Corellia, thus she began an almost military training at a very early age with the expectation that she would carry on this family tradition. Because of her upbringing and schooling she has become highly skilled at X-wing piloting and can be very lethal with just about any type of gun. Corellian Security Forces are some of the most respected in the galaxy (effectively the planetary military until the empire took over, still used as a police force).

• Ryoko: Ex-mall cop from Murchison; left her homeworld with nothing more than the clothes on her back, a 'Mech she stole, and a small heard of Facist Chicken-lizzards. Here is an excerpt from one of her logs, written after she was forgotten on Northwind with other colonists 800 yrs in the past:

  What's with the air on this planet? It' clear and always smells like the plants that are EVERYWHERE! It never smells like rust or even leaves an iron aftertaste. It's almost like the air here is a natural part of the atmosphere! Everyone tells me that I'll get used to eventually, but I don't believe them. At least all of the chicken families seem to be thriving here. Who would've guessed that those little Murchison reptile-chickens would have survived this long, and do so well in such a completely different environment.

  I think Ian and J.C. were right about finding other planets that are nicer than my homeworld. Sure, Northwind and Murchison are a little different, but it's nothing that a person can't get used to with time (well, except for this strange air). I do miss the adventures we used to have though. I mean what could possibly be more fun than stomping through oceans in 'Mechs with Plesiosaurs, burning random cities as we pass by, having "Fireside Chats" with paranoid captains from other dimensions while scarring Psi-core, and random time-travel on top of it all. Ah, yes, those were the days. Everything seems to be so quiet here when I recall those days.

  But that's not to say that we don't have our share of adventures here. Founding a colony is difficult! Something is always going wrong!! Between those raids from those dirty, chicken-eating monsters and those wanna be Komodo-dragons that keep attacking, it's amazing that McArthur has last as long as it has. At least we don't have to fight too many skirmishes with other nations. I think they kind of like us, 'cuz they actually trade with us and they only try to raid our town after they've had a bit too much to drink. The people here on Northwind are nothing like the 'Kingdom of the Plains' back on Murchison who were always attacking our city. They were definitely kings of plain! I can still hear them mocking us: "Ooo, look at us we're the '"Republic" of the Slopes!' We're sooo strong that we can defeat an entire kingdom with nothing more than our silly pet lizard! HA!" That was before they met 'Izzy, the Godzilla lizard' our town mascot. Too bad Izzy wasn't more discriminating about what side she was on... I'm gonna miss Grandma.

  Anyway, I'm off track again. What was I saying? Oh yeah, I'm very glad that everyone came to visit me at the famous Mall of Equatoria to take me on their grand adventures. Wait... did they come to the mall, or was that the time I stole the Jeep and chased after a lot of Mechs that were burning our capitol to the ground? I don't really remember anymore, and I suppose it doesn't really matter anyway. I'm just glad I got out of that dead-end job, off of Murchison and out of that paranoid galaxy (I was really hopping that I wouldn't get left there). I still can't figure out why they kept accusing me of 'Cultural Contamination,' like that was some sort of bad thing. I was a perfectly normal Mall security guard with a swarm of fascist reptilian-chickens from Murchison. What's so strange about that, huh? I think that they were just jealous of my hair.

  Oh well, at least my chickens have found a nice home. I'm sure Ian will be thrilled to find massive flocks of my reptilian-chickens when he gets home. I should probably leave him a message warning him of the few changes I've made around here. Yeah, that's a great idea! I'll go work on that now...
